Zen Garden

Image
Zen Garden Art is not reserved just for the art studio. Our backyard is now my new canvas. We have replaced the deck, replaced the old hot tub, painted the greenhouse, replaced  the flea and bug-attracting bark with gravel, and  pruned  the foliage around  the pond. One more upcoming project in July. . . a new fence.  Welcome  . . . enter . . . flowers, ladybugs, my dad’s sculpture, the scent of jasmine and roses, the sound of the waterfall in the pond, a haven for birds and squirrels

Tag. You’re it!

Tag. You’re it!  Collage tags for my May Fodder School project just keep multiplying. So calming and easy to do. Glue down some scraps from my paper stash. Find a focal doodle from my drawing stash. Hit the sewing machine to make a wonky, haphazard frame. Done. I don’t want to admit how many tags I now have. But here’s a clue. And this certainly ain’t all of ‘em.

Kumomi

Kumomi When life gets weird and busy and stressful, Kumomi saves me. Swooshes of beautiful color on a whim. Letting the brush go where it will. Colors bleeding into each other. An endless playground for doodles and dots and whatever chooses to appear.
